Fact-Checking Policy
Readers take our pages straight to their tailor, so a wrong number means a wrong neckline. This page explains how we keep information reliable.
What we check
- Depths and widths. Front and back depths follow one consistent guide used across the site and are given as typical ranges, because every body and pattern differs.
- Stitching and finishing. Advice on facing, piping, bias binding, plackets, hooks and lining follows standard tailoring practice used by Indian darzis and pattern makers.
- Names. Regional words such as chudi, chudithar, gala, dori and latkan are used the way readers use them, and explained where needed.
- Fabric care. Notes on how trims and fabrics behave after washing are kept practical and cautious.
What we do not publish
- Prices, because stitching charges vary by city and tailor.
- Paid rankings of brands or boutiques presented as advice.
Images
Neckline images are original reference illustrations made for this site, not photos of products for sale. Your finished neckline will depend on your measurements and your tailor.
